Family

Rya is always smiling. She never stopps. She is such a happy happy baby.
This is how we found Hannah sleeping. Such a silly girl.
Hannah loves the slides. Everytime we go to the park it is the only thing she wants to do.
Rya loves her daddy. Rya will just stare at him until he looks at her. As so as he does she will let out a big smile.
Hannah loves to get in the Rya's crib.
Hannah loves her picture taken.

Rya is no longer in therapy. Her head is looking great. She can move from side to side. The therapist said it was keeping her from sitting up and rolling over. Now that she is perfect hopefully she will now be able to roll and sit. I was looking in Hannah baby book. When she was 5 months old she was rolling over both ways, sitting up and she got her first tooth. Rya is doing none of those. She is teething. We will see if a tooth comes soon.
My mother-in-law watched my girls two weeks ago. It was so great because she got Rya to sleep on her stomach. Rya now sleeps amazing. She goes down great and I am getting more sleep at night. Thank you Sue. She knows what she is doing. She had 8 kids.
Blair applied for a service manager job last week. We will find out this week if he gets it. We are really praying he does. It would be great to finally see a close to his second job.
Blair and I are hoping to be taking a trip with his brothers family. We are hoping to go to Hawaii. We love being with his brothers family. They have two BEAUTIFUL girls. The youngest if Hannah age. It will be great for Cousins to play together. We wish to do lots more things with them.
Hannah is into everything. You can tell she is turning 2 soon. She climbs onto everything. I wonder how she got on that or in that. Then I wonder how she will get down. She has no fear. She will find a way. She jumped off the changing table and was fine. Now it is a daily thing to climb into Rya's crib and then up on the changing table and jump down. I am sure I will be in the hospital getting her stitches before long. I hope not. Hannah takes after her dad with the climbing. Blair did that a lot when he was a little kid. He now has scars to prove it.
I can understand everything Hannah says now. It is nice to be able to know what she is saying. She talks non stop. She is doing great with her vocabulary. Hannah was interested in the potty a month ago. now she wants nothing to do with it. Hopefully soon. Hannah loves her sister. she has to show her off to everyone everywhere we go. She is such a great mom. no one can get Rya to laugh like Hannah does. I will have to post a video soon.
As for me, I think my shingles are pretty much gone. It still hurts a little bit.
I have been running morning for 3 weeks now with my sister Rondi. It has been so nice. It is nice to get to know her more. We run 1.2 miles. We both push one of the girls. Hopefully I will be able to see the pregnant fat drop off my body.

Bad Luck

Last week I had a itch on my back. I went to scratch it and it was in so much pain. I looked in the mirror and didn't see anything. I just figured it was a zit or something starting to happen. I noticed that when I wore clothes it would just kill when it rubbed it. Two days later, I looked in the mirror again. This time there were a bunch of red dots around an old chickenpox scar. My first thought was, it think it might be Shingles. I didn't want to go to the doctor and have it be a bug bite. So I went to my aunt. She is a nurse. She is just as good as any doctor.
My aunt Debbie told me it looked like Shingles. I went to the doctor, she was right. It is Shingles. Blair looked up on the internet and found that only .01% of people my age get Shingles. I guess I am lucky. :) I started taking medication for it that night. At around 10:00 p.m. All of a sudden I felt so sick. I thought it might be just the medication doing funny things. I went to bed. I woke up not being able to move. I told Blair he had to stay home and take care of all of us. I couldn't pick up our kids. I felt better the next day, but I think I over did it. The next day I felt so sick again. I decided to go to the doctor. I then found out I have Strep Throat. How did I get so lucky to get Shingles and Strep in the same week? I am now feeling like myself. What a bad week. :(

We have been up to so much lately. Well not really. It is nice to have some warmth. We have been to the park, foo0000tball games. Monday we went swimming. It was so much fun. Hannah and Rya loved going. Rya kept kicking her feet and splashing her hands in the pool. She loved the water. Hannah couldn't get enough. She would keep jumping off the side into Blair's arms. Even though her lips were purple and she had goose bumbs all over, she didn't want to go home. We will have to go back soon.

Our Easter was great. Hannah woke up to find the Easter Bunny left candy all over the floor. It was so cute to watch her walk out and see it. She fell to her knees and started shoveling candy into her mouth. We have her on video saying "JACKPOT". I don't know where she picked that word up. We have never heard her say it again. But it was very funny.

Rya is getting so big. She still will not sleep all night. She wakes up about every hour or two hours. I have tried to just let her cry herself back to sleep but she is stubborn. She cried for two hours. When I finally gave up and picked her up she was out. Maybe she is still too little. What do you think? Rya is always happy and smiley. She can almost roll over. She is so chubby, I love it. Hannah and Rya love each other so much. They are always smiling and laughing at each other. Rya takes a lot of beating and still loves her big sister.

Hannah is also getting so big. I can't believe how tall she is. She is saying so many words. I can pretty much understand everything she says. She loves to say the words stuck and NO. Oh yeah and mom. I have learned to hate the word mom. She loves to say NO to everything. She can't count to three. I will start counting to three before she gets in trouble. She will start counting with me. I just start laughing. For a while she was so interested in going potty in the toilet. She has given that up. We will try again soon.

Here are some pictures we have taken.

WONDERFUL MOTHER

I know everyone is used to Chelsie writing the blogs but I (Blair) am writing this to refresh everyone's memory of wonderful Chelsie is. We have been married just over 2 1/2 years. In that time we have had two beautiful girls which Chelsie is wonderful enough to stay home and take care of. Time after time when someone has watched Hannah or spent time at home, church, or just playing around they mention how active Hannah is and how full of energy she is and that she just gets into everything. Chelsie is not only able to watch Hannah and make sure she has what she needs but she also takes care of Rya and keep our home in working order.
There are occasions when I come home from work and the front room and kitchen have toys all over them and it looks like a hurricane. All Chelsie can say is that she cleaned up earlier in the day but as soon as it was clean Hannah tore things up all over again. All I can say about that is I believe her 100 percent. I have been home trying to straiten up the house while Hannah is awake and it is like trying to clean all the dirt off the ground while camping in the Uintas.
Chelsie is wonderful to be so diligent in keeping the house clean despite the previously mentioned obstacle named Hannah. She constantly amazes me with the amount of energy she has. I can tell the girls love her so much. Hannah always wants her mommy to have fun with. I love coming home from work for a few reasons. One reason to love coming home is that means I am not working or at school which is always a plus. That is definitely not the most important reason. The three most important reasons are Chelsie, Hannah and Rya. I love coming home and playing with Hannah and making her laugh. I love coming home and watching Rya smile and listen to her wonderful noises. And last but not least I love coming home to see my lovely wife and to see the look of relief on her face because someone is there to give her a little break from Hannah's seemingly never ending supply of energy.
I LOVE MY WIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fab Five Fun

The first FIVE people to respond to this post will get something, handmade or homemade, from me! However there are some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It will be done sometime within a year from now.

4- You have no clue what it's going to be

5-I have to know you so that I can customize the gift!

The catch is if you choose to do this, you must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for five people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog!

been so long

I know it has been awhile. I just have not been wanting to blog. I don't ever get comments so it is hard to know if people really look at it. My brother Jesse told me I need to post some pictures for him. So Jesse this is for you. We love and miss you.

Hannah loves her sister so much.

Hannah nursing her baby after getting a bath. That is why she has no clothes on yet.

Hannah loves to pose. She thought it was funny to sit in my old barbie jeep.

I love Rya's smile. She smiles with her eyes. Blair also smiles with his eyes. I love this girl

Hannah loves to sit or use everything that is Rya's. I find her in the swing a lot. Hannah will get upset if Rya is in it and not her.
I came out one morning from getting ready for the day. I found Hannah sitting on the floor with a pile of Cheerios and a big spoon. she was getting it off the floor. She just had breakfast ten minutes before this. She makes me laugh.

Every time Hannah takes a bath she finds anything that is around the tub she can pull into the tub with her. This is a towel that I kneel on to give her a bath. When I find the garbage can in the tub I know we will need to have a talk. I am very proud of her. She went in the potty in her potty chair the other day. We are so proud of her. Hannah got a lot of hugs and kisses and a treat. She is growing up so fast.

What a silly smile. I can't get a enough of her. She keeps my life active. She is hard work but so worth it.

Turning into a big girl

Hannah has been wanting to be a big girl and do everything herself, so yesterday we took down her crib and changed it into a toddler bed. She was loving it all day. Hannah would climb up and read her books in bed. When it came down for bed she did great. We put her to bed at 8. She went right to sleep. At about 9:30 Blair hears her open the door and walk down the hall carrying her blanket. Blair picked her back up and put her back to bed. This went on till about 10:00. After that, Hannah started just playing in her room. Blair would go back in and put her to bed. We finally got the video tape and recorded her climbing out of bed and going to play. I will have to have Blair put it on tonight when he gets home. Hannah finally went to sleep at 11:30. She again woke up at 1 and came to my room calling my name. I got out of bed and rocked her and told her to be a big girl and go to sleep. She went to sleep till about 7. She woke up crying and still tired. Blair put her back to bed and we didn't hear anything from her. When we went in at 8 she was playing with toys. One day she will get this.
Hannah is now trying to take a nap. I keep going in to put her back to bed. We are going on a hour of trying. When she can get the sleeping in bed we will work on potty training. Wish me luck. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it.

Rya's Blessing

The day Rya got blessed we never pulled the camera out. Two weeks after the blessing we got home from church and put Rya back in her dress. Here are the pictures. The blessing was so great. Blair did a great job. He said some wonderful things. Thank you to all who came.
