Potty trained

I just have to let everyone know. After 3 1/2 months of potty training. Hannah has finally got it down. Hannah has been in only panties and no pull-ups for 2 weeks. She hasn’t had a single accident. Hannah even stays dry during naps and all night. She is so awesome. She will tell me when she needs to go, pull down her pants, and run in the bathroom and go.
I think Rya will be picking it up so much sooner then Hannah did. Rya will already follow Hannah into the bathroom and sit on Hannah’s little toilet while Hannah is on the big toilet.
Hannah we are so proud of you. You are growing up.

MOM LET ME IN :(

When you become a mom you lose all hope of privacy. When I take a shower, both girls are always coming in, opening the curtain and leaving the door wide open. It makes for a fast, cold shower.
When Blair is home I lock the bedroom door so they can't come in while I am in the shower. It is nice to just be able to relax and enjoy being in the shower. I always wondered how the girls react to not being able to get in. well now I know.

Christmas!!!

I can't believe Christmas is almost here. I am so excited. I know I need to wait for Thanksgiving to pass. But I want to put up Christmas stuff. I love Thanksgiving. But Christmas has such a wonderful spirit. Everyone seems nicer and they all have the Christmas spirit. I love the smell that is in the air. I love when it just snows and everything is white. I love the feeling that everyone should carry all year round.
Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, Blair's family goes up to the mountains and cuts down a Christmas tree. It will be so fun to take both girls this year. Last year I was not able to go. I just had Rya. Hannah went without us and had a blast.
We might have to decorate the tree from the middle, up. Rya loves to get into everything. We will see how she does. She wont go near it once one of the needles pokes her.
I am also making a cute advent calendar for Christmas. I will post my creation when I am done. It is looking so cute, I am so excited. It is taking a lot of work, but it is so fun to do. Everyone should make one.

Almost a year

Rya will be a year ont he 25th of November. I can't believe it. She is walking. She started when she was 11 months. She loves it. She is walking more and more and not crawling.
She is always all over the place. She is into everything, and always puts things in her mouth. She is a very happy girl. She is always smiling.
Rya loves her dad. Whenever he comes home from work Rya will loose interest in everyone, and anything she is doing. She will want him to hold her and cuddle her. Rya can sit on Blair's lap the rest of the night and be as happy as can be.
Rya loves her bath's. She tries so hard to jump in,while she is watching me fill up the tub.
Rya has 8 teeth with one more coming in. She is getting so big. She loves to say mom, dad, duck.
Rya loves Hannah. As soon as Hannah wakes up for the morning, Rya's face lights up and she is off to play with Hannah. They play all day together. Sometimes Hannah is a little rough. But Rya will just laugh when Hannah is sitting on her head or rolling over on top of her. We remind Hannah to be nice.
Hannah is also such a good little mom. She will help me out with Rya whenever I need it. She tried to pick Rya up all the time.
they are such great friends.

Halloween

I know it is a little late to post pictures of Halloween. We got a new camera but I don’t know how to load pictures, so I have to wait for Blair to do it.

Hannah loved Halloween. At first she didn’t understand why we had to dress up. After we started going from door to door and getting candy she was in heaven. She thought it was the greatest thing in the world that people were giving her candy. Hannah would run up to the door, say “Trick or Treat”, grab a handful or two of candy, say thank you and run back down. She would run towards Blair yelling, “Treat, Treat!!!!!” Then she was off to the next house. After a while she got tired of walking and her bucket was getting too heavy for her to carry. We went back to Grandma’s house and she dumped out the candy on the floor and started going through it all. She would have eaten the whole bag that night if we had let her. While at Grandma’s house, Hannah had to make sure she opened the door every time the door bell rang. (So did I. I love to see the kids in their cute costumes.)

Rya spent the night trick or treating from the stroller. She didn’t enjoy Halloween as much as Hannah did but there is next year. Both Hannah and Rya were dressed up as Hula dancers. Hannah already can’t wait to go next year. She still has candy left over but we use them as potty training treats.

Real Fast

I don't know how my days and weeks fly by so fast.
I know I have been slacking in blogging. I have not really been interested in it. By the time I can actually sit down and blog, it is the last thing I want to do.
Hannah is getting to big. Everyday she is saying more and more words. She talks non-stop. She is such a girl. We can never leave the house without a baby. She is always walking around the house in my shoes and a purse over her shoulder. If I am putting on make-up, Hannah is right by me doing the same. Potty training is going ok. Some days she is potty trained, and sometimes she is not. she goes on her own time and you can't tell her otherwise.
Rya is also growing so fast. Rya loves Hannah so much. Whenever Hannah is sleeping she is never happy. She crawls to the room and knocks on the door until Hannah wakes up. She lights up every time she sees Hannah. Rya wants to walk so bad. She now stands on her own. She has taken one step. Rya also loves to copycat everything Hannah does. She follows Hannah around the house all day. Hannah is such a great little mommy. But sometimes Hannah can also be so mean to Rya. I am excited to see them grow up and be best friends.
Blair got a job as a service manager. He loves it. It is so nice to have him moved up in his job. Blair says it is a little weird that now he is the boss.
As for me nothing as been going on. I take care of two kids and love it. It is hard work but I wouldn't ask for anything else. This morning I was getting dinner into a crock pot and I was slicing a onion. I sliced the tip of my finger off. It is sore and is bleeding really bad. That is the highlight of my life. I have been thinking that with winter coming my kids can't go outside as much. It would be fun to get a group of friends together and once a week do a play date and someones house. If anyone is interested and lives close by. Let me know.
We have our house up for sale again. I hope this time it can sell. It would be so nice to get into a bigger place with more room for everyone. If you know of any one that is looking for a Condo that has granite throughout and tile floors. Everything is 2 years old. Let me know.

No AC

It has been a long time. We didn't have our computer for about 1 month. After we got our computer back our A/C went out. It was so hot in our little place that we could no longer live at home. We moved to Perry's. After a few days of living at Perry's, the girls and I went to the farm with my family. We had a lot of fun. We were able to see Jesse who came in from New York. WE went boating, to the Rodeo and a horse pull.
After the Farm we went back to live at Perry's. A week later we went to the Perry's Cabin at Bear Lake. We were at the cabin for 5 days. We had a lot of fun. I drove up with Blair's sisters, Nancy and Kath. I also took my girls as well as Liberty, Hannah's cousin. Bear Lake is a 2 1/2 hour drive. It took us 5 hours with all of the pit stops we had to make. When we stopped for Liberty we had to stop for Rya also.
We went Boating and just had fun at Bear Lake. It was not very warm. It never got warmer than 70. Friday night we had a really big storm. Blair and his brother went to go take the boat out of the water. They were in waves with 10 to 12 foot swells. If you don't believe me Blair will tell you all about it.
Before we headed up to go boating Hannah ran a fever of 103.7. We took her to the doctor. She had two ear infections. It was so sad to watch her just lay and do nothing all day. After her ear infection went away she got 5 canker sores in her mouth. She screamed every time she would eat or drink anything.
After Bear Lake we were finally able to go home. My uncle Cameron got us a great deal on an A/C unit. I cannot thank him enough. It is nice to be home and to get back in a routine of things. I don't want to vacation for a while.
While we were gone Rya got 2 more teeth. She now has 4. She also started crawling. She moves all over the place. She is standing up and walking along furniture. Hannah is not liking that she can move. She thinks that now she can beat up on her and push her over. She tries to ride her like a horse. Hannah has been getting a lot of time outs.
Saturday I started potty training Hannah. she is doing really well. She is loving it. She will come to me and tell me she has to go. We have only had 2 accidents since Saturday. Hopefully she keeps it up. I will have to post pictures of our time away from home.
I also forgot. At the farm we picked some Apricots. I have been able to make homemade freezer Jam and some fruit leather. The girls love the fruit leather.

Long post

I know that I have not blogged in so long. It has just been so crazy. Hannah keeps getting bigger and bigger. She is starting to talk in sentences. It is amazing the things she understands. she has learned to jump and have both her feet leave the ground. She is loving it. She also has such curly curly hair. I love doing her hair because it is so cute when it gets done. She loved the fireworks. We had Fireworks at my parents on July 3rd. She loved watching Garret dance around with them. On July 4th we went boating and had a blast. Hannah was so worried when the person skiing would fall down. She wanted to know if they were safe and where they were at all times. It was a long weekend and they were always so tired.
Hannah has found how great crayons are. While I was cooking dinner she took a crayon and colored on every door and wall. I love the Mr. clean magic erase sponge. It took it right off. She also had fun one day coloring all over my legs with a pen. It kept her busy so that is all that matters. I still can't believe she will be two on the 22nd. She is so big. I tried potty training a few weeks ago and she loved it for the first 5 times she went. She now wont go near it. Hopefully she wants to start again soon.
I was doing my hair one morning and I turned off the blow dryer and heard silence. I went into the family room to find that she poured her conditioner all over the family room carpet. She also took her bubble bath and poured about 2 cups all over the bathroom floor. It turned out to be a really really bubbly bath.
Hannah has a hard time going to bed. She will start at 8 and keeps coming out as soon as I shut the door. She finally goes to sleep between 10 and 11. It makes for really long days. I love this girl. even though it is hard work. She is such a joy. She loves life and loves her sister and her parents. We love her hugs and kisses.
Rya is also getting so big. She has two teeth. She is working on another one. I am thinking I will be done with nursing soon. She is starting to bit. She is always smiling at everyone she sees. She just had two really bad ear infections. It was not fun. She had a temperature one night of 102.9. It was a little scary. I was up all night with her trying to comfort her. She has also starting to sit up. It is great to sit her on the floor and just have her play. If she wants to get to the other side of the room she will just fall over and start rolling everywhere. Hopefully she will be crawling soon. AS soon as she does, Hannah will be all over her. Rya loves to wave at people. She gives the best kisses.
The 4th was my birthday and we had a blast. We went boating and had a BBQ and do smores. The next day we went to Blair's parents to celebrate. It was a great weekend.
Here are all the pictures that have been taken.

Hannah trying to put on a swim diaper. She loves swimming.
Hannah and Carl going swimming on a hot day.

Hannah and Rya love bath time. Rya is always all smiles

The girls love to play with daddy.
Hannah thought it would be fun to draw on our legs. We had to get pictures of her art work.
Hannah had to have Rya laying on her while she watched barney
I made this hooded towel. If you know of anyone who wants one please let me know. I am making them and selling them. I love how big they are.
This is how I get dinner done and keep my house clean at the same time.

After I got out of the shower this is how I found Hannah. She got the chips out of the closet and climbed on the couch and relaxed while she ate and watched a cartoon.

Carl and Hannah love to play with each other.
Rya trying a Eclair. I think she loved it.

This is Blair trying to be pretty. He will kill me when he sees I put this picture up.
After a day of swimming I put Rya in the bathtub and she was falling asleep. This is her on the changing table asleep. I love when babies sleep. They are so cute.
I just love this picture of Rya.
She loved to be carried around in this while I put the laundry away.

Family

Rya is always smiling. She never stopps. She is such a happy happy baby.
This is how we found Hannah sleeping. Such a silly girl.
Hannah loves the slides. Everytime we go to the park it is the only thing she wants to do.
Rya loves her daddy. Rya will just stare at him until he looks at her. As so as he does she will let out a big smile.
Hannah loves to get in the Rya's crib.
Hannah loves her picture taken.

Rya is no longer in therapy. Her head is looking great. She can move from side to side. The therapist said it was keeping her from sitting up and rolling over. Now that she is perfect hopefully she will now be able to roll and sit. I was looking in Hannah baby book. When she was 5 months old she was rolling over both ways, sitting up and she got her first tooth. Rya is doing none of those. She is teething. We will see if a tooth comes soon.
My mother-in-law watched my girls two weeks ago. It was so great because she got Rya to sleep on her stomach. Rya now sleeps amazing. She goes down great and I am getting more sleep at night. Thank you Sue. She knows what she is doing. She had 8 kids.
Blair applied for a service manager job last week. We will find out this week if he gets it. We are really praying he does. It would be great to finally see a close to his second job.
Blair and I are hoping to be taking a trip with his brothers family. We are hoping to go to Hawaii. We love being with his brothers family. They have two BEAUTIFUL girls. The youngest if Hannah age. It will be great for Cousins to play together. We wish to do lots more things with them.
Hannah is into everything. You can tell she is turning 2 soon. She climbs onto everything. I wonder how she got on that or in that. Then I wonder how she will get down. She has no fear. She will find a way. She jumped off the changing table and was fine. Now it is a daily thing to climb into Rya's crib and then up on the changing table and jump down. I am sure I will be in the hospital getting her stitches before long. I hope not. Hannah takes after her dad with the climbing. Blair did that a lot when he was a little kid. He now has scars to prove it.
I can understand everything Hannah says now. It is nice to be able to know what she is saying. She talks non stop. She is doing great with her vocabulary. Hannah was interested in the potty a month ago. now she wants nothing to do with it. Hopefully soon. Hannah loves her sister. she has to show her off to everyone everywhere we go. She is such a great mom. no one can get Rya to laugh like Hannah does. I will have to post a video soon.
As for me, I think my shingles are pretty much gone. It still hurts a little bit.
I have been running morning for 3 weeks now with my sister Rondi. It has been so nice. It is nice to get to know her more. We run 1.2 miles. We both push one of the girls. Hopefully I will be able to see the pregnant fat drop off my body.

Bad Luck

Last week I had a itch on my back. I went to scratch it and it was in so much pain. I looked in the mirror and didn't see anything. I just figured it was a zit or something starting to happen. I noticed that when I wore clothes it would just kill when it rubbed it. Two days later, I looked in the mirror again. This time there were a bunch of red dots around an old chickenpox scar. My first thought was, it think it might be Shingles. I didn't want to go to the doctor and have it be a bug bite. So I went to my aunt. She is a nurse. She is just as good as any doctor.
My aunt Debbie told me it looked like Shingles. I went to the doctor, she was right. It is Shingles. Blair looked up on the internet and found that only .01% of people my age get Shingles. I guess I am lucky. :) I started taking medication for it that night. At around 10:00 p.m. All of a sudden I felt so sick. I thought it might be just the medication doing funny things. I went to bed. I woke up not being able to move. I told Blair he had to stay home and take care of all of us. I couldn't pick up our kids. I felt better the next day, but I think I over did it. The next day I felt so sick again. I decided to go to the doctor. I then found out I have Strep Throat. How did I get so lucky to get Shingles and Strep in the same week? I am now feeling like myself. What a bad week. :(

We have been up to so much lately. Well not really. It is nice to have some warmth. We have been to the park, foo0000tball games. Monday we went swimming. It was so much fun. Hannah and Rya loved going. Rya kept kicking her feet and splashing her hands in the pool. She loved the water. Hannah couldn't get enough. She would keep jumping off the side into Blair's arms. Even though her lips were purple and she had goose bumbs all over, she didn't want to go home. We will have to go back soon.

Our Easter was great. Hannah woke up to find the Easter Bunny left candy all over the floor. It was so cute to watch her walk out and see it. She fell to her knees and started shoveling candy into her mouth. We have her on video saying "JACKPOT". I don't know where she picked that word up. We have never heard her say it again. But it was very funny.

Rya is getting so big. She still will not sleep all night. She wakes up about every hour or two hours. I have tried to just let her cry herself back to sleep but she is stubborn. She cried for two hours. When I finally gave up and picked her up she was out. Maybe she is still too little. What do you think? Rya is always happy and smiley. She can almost roll over. She is so chubby, I love it. Hannah and Rya love each other so much. They are always smiling and laughing at each other. Rya takes a lot of beating and still loves her big sister.

Hannah is also getting so big. I can't believe how tall she is. She is saying so many words. I can pretty much understand everything she says. She loves to say the words stuck and NO. Oh yeah and mom. I have learned to hate the word mom. She loves to say NO to everything. She can't count to three. I will start counting to three before she gets in trouble. She will start counting with me. I just start laughing. For a while she was so interested in going potty in the toilet. She has given that up. We will try again soon.

Here are some pictures we have taken.

WONDERFUL MOTHER

I know everyone is used to Chelsie writing the blogs but I (Blair) am writing this to refresh everyone's memory of wonderful Chelsie is. We have been married just over 2 1/2 years. In that time we have had two beautiful girls which Chelsie is wonderful enough to stay home and take care of. Time after time when someone has watched Hannah or spent time at home, church, or just playing around they mention how active Hannah is and how full of energy she is and that she just gets into everything. Chelsie is not only able to watch Hannah and make sure she has what she needs but she also takes care of Rya and keep our home in working order.
There are occasions when I come home from work and the front room and kitchen have toys all over them and it looks like a hurricane. All Chelsie can say is that she cleaned up earlier in the day but as soon as it was clean Hannah tore things up all over again. All I can say about that is I believe her 100 percent. I have been home trying to straiten up the house while Hannah is awake and it is like trying to clean all the dirt off the ground while camping in the Uintas.
Chelsie is wonderful to be so diligent in keeping the house clean despite the previously mentioned obstacle named Hannah. She constantly amazes me with the amount of energy she has. I can tell the girls love her so much. Hannah always wants her mommy to have fun with. I love coming home from work for a few reasons. One reason to love coming home is that means I am not working or at school which is always a plus. That is definitely not the most important reason. The three most important reasons are Chelsie, Hannah and Rya. I love coming home and playing with Hannah and making her laugh. I love coming home and watching Rya smile and listen to her wonderful noises. And last but not least I love coming home to see my lovely wife and to see the look of relief on her face because someone is there to give her a little break from Hannah's seemingly never ending supply of energy.
I LOVE MY WIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fab Five Fun

The first FIVE people to respond to this post will get something, handmade or homemade, from me! However there are some restrictions and limitations:

1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make.

2- What I create will be just for you.

3- It will be done sometime within a year from now.

4- You have no clue what it's going to be

5-I have to know you so that I can customize the gift!

The catch is if you choose to do this, you must post this on your blog and be ready to make something for five people too. This will be fun! When you receive the fabulous item I make you, you must post a picture of it on your blog!

been so long

I know it has been awhile. I just have not been wanting to blog. I don't ever get comments so it is hard to know if people really look at it. My brother Jesse told me I need to post some pictures for him. So Jesse this is for you. We love and miss you.

Hannah loves her sister so much.

Hannah nursing her baby after getting a bath. That is why she has no clothes on yet.

Hannah loves to pose. She thought it was funny to sit in my old barbie jeep.

I love Rya's smile. She smiles with her eyes. Blair also smiles with his eyes. I love this girl

Hannah loves to sit or use everything that is Rya's. I find her in the swing a lot. Hannah will get upset if Rya is in it and not her.
I came out one morning from getting ready for the day. I found Hannah sitting on the floor with a pile of Cheerios and a big spoon. she was getting it off the floor. She just had breakfast ten minutes before this. She makes me laugh.

Every time Hannah takes a bath she finds anything that is around the tub she can pull into the tub with her. This is a towel that I kneel on to give her a bath. When I find the garbage can in the tub I know we will need to have a talk. I am very proud of her. She went in the potty in her potty chair the other day. We are so proud of her. Hannah got a lot of hugs and kisses and a treat. She is growing up so fast.

What a silly smile. I can't get a enough of her. She keeps my life active. She is hard work but so worth it.

Turning into a big girl

Hannah has been wanting to be a big girl and do everything herself, so yesterday we took down her crib and changed it into a toddler bed. She was loving it all day. Hannah would climb up and read her books in bed. When it came down for bed she did great. We put her to bed at 8. She went right to sleep. At about 9:30 Blair hears her open the door and walk down the hall carrying her blanket. Blair picked her back up and put her back to bed. This went on till about 10:00. After that, Hannah started just playing in her room. Blair would go back in and put her to bed. We finally got the video tape and recorded her climbing out of bed and going to play. I will have to have Blair put it on tonight when he gets home. Hannah finally went to sleep at 11:30. She again woke up at 1 and came to my room calling my name. I got out of bed and rocked her and told her to be a big girl and go to sleep. She went to sleep till about 7. She woke up crying and still tired. Blair put her back to bed and we didn't hear anything from her. When we went in at 8 she was playing with toys. One day she will get this.
Hannah is now trying to take a nap. I keep going in to put her back to bed. We are going on a hour of trying. When she can get the sleeping in bed we will work on potty training. Wish me luck. If anyone has any advice I would love to hear it. video

Sorry it has been a long time

I am sorry it has been sooo long. I have been playing catch up with two kids. I also have not been feeling like blogging. Two kids are great. Hard, but so worth it. Hannah loves Rya so much. Hannah is always having to hug and kiss Rya. Every time Rya cries, Hannah comes running. Hannah is such a big help. Hannah loves to help burp and bath Rya. She will bring me diapers and anything else I need her to bring. She is such a great little mom. Here are some pictures.

Rya is so cute. I love her hair. It wont ever stay down
Santa came to Perry's. Hannah was a little scared at first. She soon came to love him.

I had to get a picture of how little she is. She fits so great in the boppy.

Blair and the girls. Hannah loves to hold Rya.
Wanting to smile but is not sure if she should
Blair enjoying Rya
Hannah and her two cousins at Christmas. They loved playing together. It is too bad they live in California.
Hannah and her funny faces during Christmas. she knows she is cute and makes sure everyone else thinks so to.

Trying to get the girls to take a picture

Jesse is always saying that Hannah doesn't like him. This is what broke the wall between them. Hannah has no problems with him anymore. Jesse almost had her asleep. The wet diaper was keeping her up. We miss you Jesse.

One Week

I can't believe it has been a week. It is crazy to think that last week I was having a baby. I still can't believe she got here as fast as she did. We all love her to death. Hannah has to know where she is at all times, if she can't find Rya she will start crying and wants to know where she is. Hannah is always giving her hugs and kisses. She loves to hold her with the help of Mom and Dad. She is a great big sister. I love my girls. Rya is such a great baby. The only time we hear her cry she when she is hungry. Rya has such a beautiful smiles that she shows off all the time. She is so beautiful. I love my beautiful girls. I can't believe we are now a family of 4. Here are some pictures in the hospital and at home. I love Rya's hair. I love that she has so much and that it sticks up everywhere. I am also so thankful for Blair and how much help he has been with two kids. He has been such a great dad to both Hannah and Rya. I love you Blair.

Thanksgiving

I came home from the hospital Thanksgiving afternoon. We went to Perry's for dinner. We didn't stay long. We just knew that Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without family. Here are some pictures of Hannah showing off her teeth, and cute smile. I love this little girl so much.

The Long Story

As promised earlier I will tell you all the long version of my adventurous day. It started off with a doctors appointment to Dr. Stowers (who I really don't like as a doctor but that is another story) at 9:00 o'clock. I was dilated to a 3 and 60 % effaced. He made an appointment for me to be induced on December 3rd and told me he would see me next week. I went home and I was having the occasional contraction. I got some stuff taken care of around the house. Blair was home from work all day so he was able to watch Hannah and the other kids that I watch. Both Blair and I wanted to have the baby soon so we tried figuring out what to do. I went to the gym and walked on the stairmaster for a few minutes. I could only climb stairs a few at a time before I was either out of breath or having a contraction or both.
I went home from the gym and eventually made it to my Grandma Deters house to work on some baby blankets. The contractions were getting more intense as the day kept going. I went home from my grandmas and the contractions got a lot worse once I got home. Around 4:00 I called the hospital to talk to a nurse to describe the contractions and try to get an idea if I was in labor or not. My contractions at the time were spaced between 3 and 5 minutes apart while I was standing but when I would sit down they would go to about 10 minutes apart. The nurse said I wasn't in labor and the contractions should be spaced evenly no matter where I was or what I was doing.
I hung up the phone and they just kept going. I didn't want to go to the hospital and get sent home because of false labor. Around 6' o clock pm Blair called his mom and asked her to come up to our house to watch Hannah so we could go to the hospital. Blair's mom was about 30 to 40 minutes away so we called my Grandma Deters and she was there in 2 minutes. We left for the hospital and Blair drove as fast as he could. We were kind of hoping we got pulled over so we could maybe get escorted the rest of the way. That didn't happen. We got to the hospital at 6:45 and went up to labor and delivery. They had me get dressed in the gown. I thought I had to go to the bathroom and I looked and thought I was bleeding. It started freaking me out. The nurses tried keeping me calm but it didn't work very well.
The nurse checked me and I was dilated to and 8 1/2 and was 100% effaced!!!! I had gotten that far on less then 10 hours.I started begging for an epidural so they called the anesthesiologist. The nurses got my I.V. in after 3 different tries and the doctor came in to start the epidural. I WAS DYING BY THIS POINT. I was hurting so badly I couldn't wait for the epidural to start. The doctor got it put in and layed me back on the bed. I felt like the water had broken probably 4 times. After I laid back down my water really broke and I felt like something was coming out. The nurse looked and the baby was crowning. They called the emergency OB/GYN and had him rush up to the room. The doctor came into the room and before he had time to even put on gloves, the baby had come out. No one caught the baby the baby just slid out and landed on the bed. The official birth time was 7:15. Oh yeah by the way the anesthesiologist didn't have a chance to really start the epidural so technically I went all natural. He had the needle put in and ready to start it but by the time they were going to hook it up the baby was out.

FINALLY!!!!!!!

On Tuesday November 25th I gave birth to a new beautiful baby girl. Rya Lyn Perry was born 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long. It is kind of a long story but to make it short, this morning I was checked by my doctor and I measured a 3 like I blogged earlier. By 6:45 pm I was at LDS Hospital and being checked by the nurses. The baby was born at 7:15 pm. The gynecologist didn't even have time to put his gloves on before the baby had come out. I will blog more about the whole experience later but here are a few pictures to enjoy until you all can see in person how beautiful she is.

So close but not close enough

I went to the doctor today. Still no baby. I am dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced. If I don't have her by the 3rd he will induce me. Hopefully she comes before then. We are crossing our fingers.

Mommys little girl

Grandma Perry found a balloon laying around that was just the right size. Grandma put it up Hannah shirt and we all started laughing that she looked pregnant. We couldn't help but get pictures of Hannah and I together. Hannah was not sure what to think of it all. Hopefully she will laugh when she is older.

Such a babe

Hannah's great Grandma Bradshaw went to Hawaii. She brought Hannah back a really cute backpack and a jacket. Hannah loved the backpack. She rolled it around for a long while after getting it. I also have to say I love Hannah with her two pig tails in the back. Thank you Grandma. We love it.

Pregnant pictures

I have had people ask me to post some pictures of me pregnant. Well I hate the pictures but here they are. I know that you probably see me in nothing but comfortable pants. I can't keep maternity pants up. The comfy ones are the only ones that feel the best, and I don't have to pull them up all day.

Hannah loves her daddy

It is so funny to see Blair and Hannah watch football together. They both look so relaxed. Blair wanted a boy he could play and watch football with. Well he got a girl that loves to do that anyway. Hannah loves to cuddle up to her dad and watch TV with him. I love these two.

2

I went to the doctor today. He told me I am dilated to a 2. We are excited. Blair is more anxious then I am. I am actually getting scared because I know what to expect. It will all be ok. Blair is wanting me to have this baby this weekend. We will see what happens. But at least we are moving somewhere.

Grateful

Blair had today off work. It was so nice having him home. Blair woke up and came out of the room closing the door to the bedroom very quietly. I walked in to get all the laundry and he had made the bed. I came back out and he was doing all the dishes. He has been such a great help today. He did more then I did today. He has been so great today. He has done dishes twice, helped me clean, we went to Costco, Blair watched Hannah and he cooked me breakfast and lunch and started on dinner. Thank you Blair. You are so sweet to me. I know you read the blogs once in a while. So this was for you.

To my sister

Last night the Merkley family got together with the Schmutz family. It was good to get together and see each other. It has been so long. Hannah and I were there without Blair. He was not feeling well. I got a lot of help from my sister with Hannah. Seeing that I am so big it is hard to keep track of her. Even though my sister will probably think it was no big deal, to me it was. It helps me out so much when people help me. Thank you Rondi for getting her off the stairs and carrying her out to the car for me. It was a big help. Thank you so much and I love you.

Waiting

The doctor called me and told me he wont move my due date to November 22. He doesn't care the baby is big. I do care. I don't want to get her here in December and see that she is 10 pounds. I have been doing jumping jacks. About every 10 minutes for the last day and a half, I will do 30 jumping Jacks. We will see if I can get her to move down. I also drank some Raspberry Leaf tea. Thanks Megan for the tip. I don't know if I can eat dark chocolate. I will keep everyone up to date. It would be great if she came before Thanksgiving. We will see what h appends.

Thanksgiving

I went to the doctor for a checkup today. He told me that he thinks the baby is not getting what she needs and she might be in trouble. He told me to get a ultrasound right away. Blair and I were getting a little worried. She had to be ok. She moves like crazy, and kicks so hard. I thought for sure she was big because of how hard the kicks were. I also thought for sure that I was dilated or something. I have had contractions for a while. But I found out that no dilation is going on.
We have been worried not knowing if she is ok. We went in for our ultrasound. The doctor was so off. I am due December 7. The ultrasound is showing I am 2 weeks more then what my due date is. That puts me at November 22. The ultrasound is also showing her being 7 lbs 14 oz. WHAT!!! I don't want a big baby. She needs to come now. I am taking advice on how to start dilation and contractions. Any ideas?

What is your guess?

I want to see what everyone's guess is. I did this for Hannah and it was fun to see who was right.
Take a guess at when you think our baby will be born, what time, how much she will weigh, and how long she will be? It is fun to see who is the closest. So everyone knows. I am due December 7th. If you are also wondering. Hannah was born July 22nd and was due August 3rd. She was born at 9 something in the morning. She was 7 lbs. 11 oz. She was 21 inches long.
I will try to think of a price for the one who gets the closest.

It's nice to get out

On Sunday Hannah was going crazy being in the house. We thought it would be a great day to let her run. Hannah had so much fun just being out of the house.
After about 20 minutes of running around, Jesse came driving up. He stopped and talked to us. About another 10 minutes, my dad and mom came riding down the street, on my dads motorcycle. We had a little family party on the field. It was a lot of fun. Sundays are the best time to spend with family.

Cousins

I got the privilege to watch Noah while Megan was on bed rest. Hannah and Noah had so much fun. It took awhile for Noah to warm up. But after while he was great. He was able to find the movies and pull them all off the shelf. He also got his hair combed by Hannah. He was not too fond of her hugs. He kept pushing Hannah away. Hannah loved having Noah around. It was great to have cousins together. I even got three kisses from Noah. He is so cute. I love that little guy. Thanks Megan for letting us watch him.

Who are you voting for?

Blair sent me this link to watch. It has made me really upset just watching it. I would encourage everyone that reads this to watch this clip. I hope you all know who you are voting for, and make the right decision.

Pumpkins

Last Tuesday we carved pumpkins. Hannah was not sure what to think of them. She tried to eat the pumpkins. She didn't like the taste but she still kept tasting it. Blair tried to put the pumpkin on her head. She was not sure of that either. The only thing she loved out of the whole thing was turning out the lights and seeing them glow. Every time we are outside she has to show everyone who walks by the pumpkins. She is so cute. Hannah has been saying a few words all the time. She will point to everything and ask "What's that"? It is so cute. The other words she says are a hit and a miss. If you don't hear the word she wont say it again. She loves to look at pictures of Jesus. She will point to him all the time and say his name. It is really cute that she knows who it is. We have never told her who he was. It is amazing to me.

I

Not a baby anymore

I got all of Hannah's old stuff out for Rya. I didn't want to be washing it and getting it ready a few weeks before I was due. Hannah loved to climb in and out of it. She thinks she still fits. She is so cute. Hannah is going to be such a big help when Rya comes.
know you all probably think that Hannah is never dressed. I do get her dressed for the day. She either takes her clothes off herself, or after I change her it is too big of a hassle to chase her down and put clothes on her. Hannah loves to be naked. It is a work out to get her to stay dressed or to put clothes on her. I am sorry to all of those that hate that she is never wearing clothes. She does get dressed. Being as pregnant as I am, it is not worth fighting her to get dressed.

Feeling the spirit of Christmas

To me it has been feeling like Christmas so much lately. I know you are all thinking I am really weird, and Christmas is not for another 2 months. But I can't help it. I am so excited this year for it to come. I have been listening to Christmas music all day. I am loving it. I wish I had a tree to put up and I could decorate. Maybe I am so excited because I will have a new little baby to love. I just had to write and let you all know how weird I was. I will be posting more today with pictures. I have to get my house clean before I can sit down and blog.

Energizer Bunny (Hannah)

Today was such a frustrating day for me. I thought for sure Hannah was 2 years old. It doesn't matter how high or where I put things, Hannah finds a way to get to it.
We always keep our bedroom and bathroom door closed. If it is left open Hannah finds something to get into.
I was doing Laundry today and was not paying attention to her. All of a sudden one of the kids I watch told me that Hannah opened something up and it is spilling all over. I rushed over to find Blue Finger Nail Polish all over my carpet and her. The bottle was empty. I was in panic. I had no clue how to get it out. I didn't have finger nail polish remover. I called my neighbor. She had a whole bottle. I used the whole thing. I scrub ed for about a hour trying to get it out as much as possible. I can still see where it was. It is very light. Blair was not able to find where it was, so that is very good.
I got my neighbor a new bottle of remover to make up for the one I used. Thank you Becca for coming to my rescue in such short notice.
After I cleaned up the carpet I had to get pictures of Hannah. As mad and frustrated as I was, I had to get pictures of the mess she made on herself.

Weird girl

This is just for me to remember. Hannah is so funny. Every night Hannah gets a bath. Every time I put lotion on her she loves to eat it off her arm. I am sure it can't taste good, Hannah believes it is. Hopefully she wont get sick from it.

Saturday, September 20, 2008

Yesterday morning Hannah insisted she eat her breakfast with her baby. I tried to put her on the counter so baby would not get dirty. But Hannah wasn't having any of that. She ate everything with her baby in her arms. She is such the girl. She loves the purses, necklaces, bracelets and make-up. She is so funny. I love this girl.

Can't get enough of how cute Hannah is

I went in my room the other day to fold towels. I walked in and found Hannah sitting in the laundry basket. She thought it was the funniest thing. Hannah is usually pulling the towels out, not sitting on them. She is so cute. I can't get enough of her.

Toilet Paper

Before I stop Hannah from doing something I have to get pictures first. We had a guy over to give us a bid on windows. I heard nothing but silence and knew it was a bad thing. I went into our bedroom to find this.... A pile of toilet paper and Hannah sitting in the middle of it. The other pictures are the trail that leads to the bathroom and the roll. I just laughed and got the camera. I just put that roll on that morning.

Two Years

On September 16, Blair and I were married for two years. It has been a great two years. I am so lucky to have a husband like him. We have had our ups and downs, but it has been a great two years. It is amazing to think how much has gone on in two years.
Blair had to work on our anniversary. I made sure that dinner was ready when he got home. After dinner I gave Hannah a bath and cleaned the kitchen. Around 7:30 Blair's mom, Sue came and watched Hannah. Blair and I went miniature golfing. It was so much fun. It was a little hole in the wall place. But it was a blast. It was nice to be able to talk without Hannah. We talked about Christmas and how much more you can love someone after two years. It was a good night.
Thank you Blair for everything you do.

Such a girl

Hannah put this bag around her waist and walked with it between her legs. Hannah thought it was so much fun. I am sure as soon as she figures out how to put a purse on her shoulder she will be hauling it around everywhere.

Diaper party

I was in the kitchen doing dishes when I noticed something very unusual around the house... silence. We all know this means the kids and Hannah are up to something. This is what I found.

All the places to hide

I put up the babies crib last week. Hannah has recently discovered that she can crawl under it and hide. I went in the other day to find her. She thought it was funny to peak under and play peek-a-boo.

Sleeping

I love to go into Hannah's room while she is sleeping, and see the different ways she sleeps. Here are a few pictures of her sleeping with her legs in the air, and her baby by her side. Blair and I have learned that Hannah falls asleep faster and better with her baby sleeping with her.

Cute little girl

Hannah loves her bike and her Baby doll. It was so cute to see her riding along with her baby in the back.

Hannah is walking

For a few months Hannah has been taking a few steps here and there. For about a week now she has really been picking it up. Hannah walks almost more then she crawls. She loves it. It is so cute to watch her. Everytime I get the camera out to get a picture she will fall down and wont get back up. We will keep working on getting pictures. I can't believe how big she is getting. It is interesting to think that she knows what we say to her. We can ask her where something is, or to go get something and she will go find it and bring it to us. She is talking quit a bit. She says yeah all the time. If we ask her if she wants something she will say yeah. It is very cute. She can say Mom and Dad. She mostly says Dad. Hannah loves her dad. As soon as Daddy comes home she wants just Dad. It is a nice brake for me. Hannah also has recently descovered her baby doll. This baby doll is carried everywhere. Hannah has three baby dolls. She only likes the one that Grandma Merkley bought her. The others she could care less. Hannah will rock her baby and give her kiss's and hugs. She will come to us so we will give her baby loves. she gets a little jelous when we kiss her baby, so she makes sure we give her a kiss also. Hannah will be so great when this next baby comes.
Hannah has 11 teeth now. She has her four front top and bottom and three molers. We can't believe how big she is getting. She is growing so fast.

Bats

So last week I was out on my deck and it sounded like there was running water running inside our brick wall. I have been seeing Wasps going in and out of there, so I thought they were in there flying around. I came inside and told Blair that he will need to spray them tonight. I was really freaked out when I went outside a few minutes later to find out that my neighbor told me she has been seeing Bats fly out of our deck. I couldn't believe it. We went outside that night and watched as these Bats flew out. I counted 26. I called a pest control guy the next day. He told me if I don't go on my deck they wont attack me. Well I kind of need my deck. He also said to wait till winter and they will fly South. When they do that is when I cover up the hole. I didn't like the idea of waiting for Winter. I called a few more people. Critter Control came out to look at them. He is going to wait till September 1st because that is when it will be legal to kill Bats. He gave us a bid of close to $3,000 to take care of them. That is so crazy. It is a good thing HOA covers all that. I told him that we have seen one that stuck to the wall. Blair thought it was funny to flick on the deck light to catch them flying away. The one we saw was Black with a White head. He told me that those kid of Bats are not nice. So they will attack me if I am in there way. I also told him that I thought there were 26 Bats. But the other night I counted 46 and I gave up. But I could still see them flying out. He told me that there were probably around 75 to 100. It is kind of cool to see them fly in and out at night. But it is not cool to have them living in your home. I don't go on my deck. When I do they hiss at me. So I try to stay inside unless there is something I really need in my shed. I will have to keep you updated on what happends. I would post pictures of them. But it is so dark that I have not been able to get a good shot of them.

First birthday

Hannah is 1. Yeah. We started off the whole day by babysitting the kids I watch. Hannah loves them. She has so much fun playing with them. While they played I cleaned for the party that we were going to have at our house. It was a good day. After Hannah bit through her lip. She was standing all on her own, lost her balance and fell. She started screaming. I thought she just hit her head really hard. After she lifted her head from my shoulder, I saw that her lip was bleeding. I think I have finally been able to get the blood out of my shirt and garments. She still has a little sore. Hannah was so brave. She only cried for a little while and was back on the floor playing.

My sister-in laws, Nancy and Katherine came over to help me with a cake and Hannah. Katherine was a big help. She played with all the kids. She took them out side to blow bubbles. They were out there for about ten min. because they saw a daddy long leg. Nancy and I made Hannah a cake of a Duck. It turned out so cute. Hannah had three cakes. A duck, a free cake from Albertsons and a square one I did in case there was not enough. That is right. Albertsons gives away free cakes for your child's first birthday. It was so cute, and such a nice size cake.

Everyone showed up at our house, We talked and watched Hannah/Me open her presents. Hannah got a lot of clothes. Hannah also got a little bike she can ride or push. I can not forget the box of Twinkies that she got from her uncle Spencer. He figured that kids only like toys for a few minutes and then they are off playing with something else. But I am sorry Spencer. There is no nutritional value in Twinkies so I don't think I am going to give them to her.Katherine also made her the cutest blanket. She will love it when winter comes. Thank you Kath. After presents Hannah started on her cake. She had a hard time at first. She would get a little frosting on her fingers and eat it, then wave to everyone. Hannah did this till Blair took her hand and smashed it in her face. After that she was all for it. She was covered. But she loved every minute of it. Hannah had a great birthday. I can't believe she is one. It has flown by. She is almost walking. She is always standing up on her own. She just is scared to take those steps. She will get there. When she does start walking she will be all over the place. She climbs on everything. She will take after her dad. Hannah we love you. You bring so much joy to our lives. Our lives are so much better with you in them. You know how to put a smile on every ones face. You are loved by so many people. We are so thankful that the lord brought you into our family. We love you.

Thank you to everyone that came to her birthday. The gifts were very much appreciated. We love you all. I do have some pictures of her birthday that I will post later.

Boy or Girl

So we went in today to find out how the baby was doing and what we were having. The baby is doing great. I am now due December 7th and not the 10th. The baby is almost a pound. It was really cute. He or She would keep thinking about putting her or his hands in the mouth. Every time the thing would rub on my stomach my the feet. The baby would kick it really hard. He or she was moving around like crazy. But they did see what it was. And we are going to keep it a secret till the baby is born. Sorry everyone. We want it to be a surprise to you all. But we are excited to have what we are having.

Such a sweet brother

Last week was my birthday. My sister Wrote me a text and told me happy birthday. My mom called me so say happy birthday. While I was on the phone with my mom my two brothers, Luke and Garret sang me Happy birthday in Russian and Spanish. The one person I thought would of called or text ed would of been Jesse. I didn't think anything else of it. My dad ended up calling me two days after my birthday and Jesse ended up calling me last night. He felt so bad. I told him it was ok. I really was not hurt by it. Well today My brother came to my house and he walks in with a dozen flowers. It was so sweet of him. I told him thank you and I loved them. What a sweet brother I have. Jesse is so kind to everyone. He has such a soft heart. He is the best brother and friend anyone could ask for. I love you Jesse. Thank you so much.

4th of July/My birthday

As most of you know my birthday is on July 4th. Blair, Hannah and I went up to Bear lake for the weekend. Blair celebrated my birthday on the 3rd before going up to Bear Lake. I woke up on the 3rd to the house decorated. It was so cool. I looked on the table and saw this great cake. I couldn't help but laugh. If most of you can't tell. It is a pregnant women. Didn't he do a great job? Blair also bought me the DVD Newsies. He also bought me a new phone. I loved my pre-birthday. I have such a great husband.

In Bear Lake Blair's grandma rented a boat for the 4th. Hannah loved it. She ended up falling asleep on the boat. We later played in the water. She didn't mind that either. Grandma Perry was holding her and running in the water as we played Frisbee. She loved the water hitting her legs. Hannah was also very interested in the fireworks. The ones that were to bright to look at she would cover her eyes. she was so tired from the long nights of staying up that she fell asleep while watching the fireworks.

We had such a great time in Bear Lake. For those who have been up there, we all know how much fun you can have. But we also know how sometimes you just have to get out of there before you go insane by some things that are said, or things have to be done a certain way. But for the most part it was fun.

Random Pictures

Hannah loves to wake up and come sleep with us in bed. I wake up before both of them and I can never help but take a picture of them. They are so cute.

I love to make Hannah's hair stick up while she is in the bath. It is starting to get so long. I love it.

Hannah loves to sit in her chair. I think that Hannah and Blair are sitting a lot alike in this picture.

Dry Drowning

Blair sent me this video about a little kid who died from drowning hours after he went swimming. So scary. I think that all you parents need to watch this video. I hope that we are all a little more careful. I know I will be. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24982210

Email Address

I need to get every ones email address. I am going to block my blog so only those emails I have will be able to see my blog. I have had people I don't know get on and write comments. It is a little weird. And it is not in English. so if you want to see my blog post a comment with your email address. Thanks.

Random stuff

So I know I haven't blogged in a long time. I don't know what to blog about. I look at peoples blogs and I see that they do so much stuff during the week. Well my weeks consist of watching kids during the day and cleaning the house. So I guess I could post pictures of me cleaning my house. But I will try to keep a blog once a week. And I guess this is more for me as a journal then it is for you. But it is also for you.
Well we were told that our pool in our condo was going to be up and running for memorial weekend. We were disappointed when it wasn't. We then got told it will be up June 10th. Well it wasn't. We keep waiting because we are hot and we are paying HOA on this pool that is dirty and has scum in it. Well yesterday we found out that they said the pool is clean and it is ready to go. It is not ready to go. I wouldn't even let my dog (if we had one) swim in it. It is so dirty and sick. I have talked to Blair. He is going to call the HOA board and give them a talking to. I wouldn't want to be them. Hopefully it gets going soon. We would love to swim in it.
Yesterday for family night we decided that we would spend our family home evening going to Wal-mart and Home Depot. We needed to get some wasp killer. I have hit down so many wasps nets when we first moved in. One has come back. It is on our patio. It is sad because I don't dare to go out. So now I just need to get up the guts to go spray it at night.
Hannah is going to be a year old on the 22nd of July. I am so excited. It is amazing how much she has changed in the last month. she is acting so big. I am going to attempt to make Hannah a duck cake. That is right. A duck cake. She has a rubber duck that she puts the head in her mouth. It has been her favorite toy since she could put it in her mouth. So we will see how it turns out. This is what I am wanting it to look like.

Wish me luck. I am excited to try it.
On July 15th. We will find out if we will be having a baby boy or a baby girl. We are so excited. Blair and I really think it is a boy. We will see. We are wanting it to be a surprise for everyone when we have it. so we are debating on telling ANYONE what it is. What do you think?
Well I just wanted to let you know what was going on in our little house. Not much but at least I have a recent blog up.

Nice to have company

I was sitting home yesterday just bored watching the kids I watch and Hannah play. I get a text from my sister-in-law Nancy if she can come over and be bored with me. She came over and we had a blast. Well I wouldn't say blast but she is so fun to be with. She is the nicest person I know. She is always happy. and she loves to talk. I love her. She really is a amazing person. I know one day she will make some guy the luckiest guy in the world. She has so much to give. We love you Fancy Nancy. Thanks for being all that you can be.

No more

Tuesday night was a long night for me. Hannah just kept waking up screaming because she wanted a bottle. Well I knew she didn't need one. I went in to give her her Binky. She was so mad because it was not what she wanted. So she took it out of her mouth and chucked it across the room. I couldn't believe the attitude. So I turned on the light. This was at 2 in the morning. She was mad that I turned on the light. I gave her the Binky back and turned the light off again. She chucked it again and then started screaming a blood curdling scream. I had it. I shut the door and let her scream. The next morning the bottle was gone. I was not going to have a kid act like that for a bottle. She has not had a bottle sense Tuesday night. Wednesday was a hard night. She decided she was going to scream from 3-7 till she got a bottle. I was not giving in. She finally went to sleep and she has not asked for a bottle sense. Right before bed I give her a glass of milk and that is it. She goes to bed and she has slept through the night ever sense. It is a great thing. But I am proud of my self for getting rid of the bottle at 10 months. YEAH ME!!!

Fun at the Zoo

Saturday Blair, Hannah and I went to the Zoo with some friends of ours. They have a one year old girl. We had so much fun. Hannah loved all the animals. She really loved the bigger animals. They were easier to see. My favorite part of the Zoo were the Elephants. They were so cool. They built a new place for them. It was fun to watch the Elephants put on a show for us. My second best thing was the White Alligator. It was really cool to see. It just sat there and watched us. As we moved to the other side of the glass you could see it's eyes just following us. We also saw this really big turtle. That was amazing they can get that big. After we were all done we had to see how be compared to a gorilla. Blair is really close. Check out the tigers paw. It is so big. I was so amazed. For those who have not gone in a long time and have kids. I would recommend going. It is really neat. I have not been sense 9th grade. It was a lot of fun. It might not of been as much fun if Hannah wasn't with us. Sorry for the many pictures. But we had so much fun I had to show you most of everything.
Thank you Liz and Sterling for going with us. We had so much fun.

Finally a clean house

Ever sense we have came home from Aruba my house has been a mess. Hannah got sick right after we got home. She had a runny nose, diarrhea, a cough and a temperature of 103.5 degrees in one night. I took her to the doctor the next morning. The doctor told me she had a really bad ear infection. So she has been on medicine. It has taken her about a week to get over it. But now that she is finally able to play on her own and not be held all the time. I was able to clean today. I love a clean house. It feels so good. I am now OK with whoever comes over whenever. It is again presentable. Not much has happened lately. We had a blast on our trip. It was so good to get away and relax. We were by the pool most of the time. We did take one day and go snorkeling. That was good. The fish are not nearly as pretty as the fish in Hawaii. But it was still fun. I had to hold Blair or Nancy's hand the whole time because I am so scared of Sharks. But I am still alive so I am happy.

ARUBA

So we finally made it. After staying in Atlanta for two days because we missed our flight. We all finally made it to Aruba Saturday afternoon. It is so great here. It is so nice and warm. Hannah is not sure what to think. She has wanted noone but me because I think she is not sure where she is. and I am the safe one. She has been so tired. She has been sleeping so much. Last night she slept all night. It was great. It is here second night sleeping through the night sense we have been gone. I think we just might need to go out of town more often. But It is so pretty here. Here are some pictures of what it looks like.

I also have to tell you how cool but also very freaky this is. So everywhere you go there are igunas just laying around. They are not scared of people. They just lay and bask in the sun anywhere they want to. They would lay on the rock RIGHT next to the pool. All you had to do is stick your hand out and you would touch them. Here is also some pictures with Hannah swimming.

For ROBYN

So I was told I just don't blog enough. So I have told my Aunt that I am going to do a blog just for her. So Robyn this is for you.
Some of you might know my aunt Robyn and some of you might not. If you don't then I am really sorry. She is a great mother, wife, daughter, sister and Aunt. If I missed anything Sorry. She has helped me through so much. she is great. I love you Robyn.
OK Well I hope that was great :)
So now this is my real blog. I am so excited for this week. My little brother Garret comes home from his mission tomorrow. I am so excited to see him. I can't believe it has been two years. It has gone by so fast. He has missed out on so much sense he has been gone. I have gotten married and had a baby girl. I am pregnant again which Garret doesn't know yet. My brother Luke has had a boy and his wife is pregnant again. Garret also doesn't know about her either. I have had two cousins get married and one is having a baby soon. Which I am so excited. He has also had another cousin Dan who's wife has had a baby girl. WE have re-done our house. We have built on. garret doesn't know about that either. There are so many things that he will be seeing for the first time. I am the most excited for him to see the knew babies in the family. Garret is so great with kids. They will just love him to death. Shortly after Garret gets home. We are leaving for Aruba Thursday. I am so excited to be in the water and warmth. I can't wait to see how Hannah will love the ocean. I will have to blog SOOO many pictures.
If you don't see a blog for a while. It is because we wont be home till the 24th. And then on the 25th Garret will be having his homecoming. So I am sorry if it is about 2 weeks before I am back on this. Robyn I am sorry because I know how much you love to read them.
I have been so excited for the trip. I am passing by time by packing a little bit one day at a time. Today I am going shopping for things we need. Blair thinks I am crazy because I am so excited. He tells me to stop talking about it because it is making him excited and it feels like it will never get here. I will think of all of you while I am in the ocean and just relaxing. But look on the bright side. It will be almost 90 degrees on Saturday and Sunday. Yeah.
I will see you all when I get back.
YEAH FOR GREAT WEEKS

Silly Hannah

Hannah is so funny. I was unloading the dishwasher and I turned around to put some dishes away. When I turned back around I found Hannah sitting on the dishwasher. She is so funny. Hannah loves to climb on everything. If she doesn't fit. she finds a way.

These are some more pictures of Hannah just having fun. She also got a swimsuit. It is so cute. I had to get some pictures on. She will love to go swimming when we are in Aruba next week.

I need help

I have been trying to get Hannah to sleep through the night. When she would wake up I would let her cry for 5 min. and then go in and tell her I love her, but it is time to sleep. I would lay her back down and she would cry. It would take about a hour then she would go to sleep. She would wake up 4 or 5 times during the night. I figured she was not ready. After 4 days I finally stopped. Last night I went in everytime she cried. She woke up every 30 min to a hour. all night long. I am so tired. I know she doesn't need me. What do I do? If anyone has any advice let me know.

nap time/sleeping with dad

I put Hannah down for a nap. It was going on 3 hours. I hated to wake her up. But we had to leave the house. I went in to wake her up and I found her on the other side of the crib, On top of her blankets, her hand hanging out of the railing and her legs crossed. It was so cute. I had to get pictures.

I put hannah in bed with Blair on morning. I went back in and thought it was so cute to see both of them sleeping. I had to get a picture.

Finally a warm day

After all the cold days we have had. we finally got a warm day. Blair had a day off so we went to the park. Hannah got to swing and go on the slide. She loved it. I can't wait for more days so we can go outside more often.

Crawling

Hannah can now crawl. It is so cute. She is getting so fast at it. She started to crawl backwards Feb 18. It was so cute. She couldn't figure out how to go forwards. She finally figured it out on Fed 28. She was 7 months and a few days. That same day she decided that if she can crawl she is going to pull her self up to standing. She is growing up so fast. It is so fun to see her grow up.

Valentines

For Valentines I wanted to do something great for Blair. We didn't have any money to go out anywhere. I knew I wanted to do something great at home. I got steak and shrimp but there was one problem. I didn't know how to cook Steak. So I had to tell him I was doing dinner for him. But I never told him that I was setting the table to look great. As he walked in the door the lights were out and the candles were lighting up the place. We had a great dinner. In the middle of dinner Hannah woke up and finished eating with us. Here are some pictures of the table.
Valentines morning I came into the family room to find that Blair got me a highchair for Hannah. It was getting hard to feed her on my lap. In the Highchair was a teddy bear for Hannah. Hannah loves it. Here are some pictures of her using it for the first time. She loves to eat. As you can tell it is everywhere. I love the highchair. I love my husband. Thank you honey.

I love bath time

Hannah loves bath time. Ever time we get her undressed to get in the tub. She starts kicking her legs and smiling. She gets so excite. Hannah has a rubber duck that she love. She will put the head of the duck in her mouth and it will never leave the whole time she is in the tub. I think she loves to chew on the head because she is teething. It has got to feel good. She is the cutest.

To crawl or not to crawl

So Hannah wants to crawl so bad. Blair has been putting her on her knees and helping her along. She gets on her knees and rocks back and forth but she is not sure what to do from there. She just ends up getting back on her tummy. One of these days she will crawl. It will be so nice.

6 Months

Hannah is getting so big. She is now 6 months. I think it has gone by so quickly. It doesn't seem that long ago that all she did was sleep and now she is rolling everywhere. I put her on one side of the room and in 30 seconds she is to the other side of the room. She loves to smile and give kisses. She loves bath time. She loves being in the water and would play all night no matter how cold the water was.

Blair's parents have been flipping a house for about 6 months now. It is almost finished. There will be an open house Saturday the 26th. You should all come see it. It looks great. The address is 2030 E. Logan Avenue, (approximately 1625 S.) in Salt Lake. The pictures don't do it justice. The open house is from 9-5. If you know of anyone that is looking to buy a beautiful home let them know.

5 Months

Wow. Sorry it has been so long sense the last time I wrote. Time just flies by. Hannah is getting so big. She will be 6 months on the 22nd. I can't believe it. She has got two front teeth on the bottom. She has learned how roll over from her back to her stomach. She can't figure how to get back the other way. Once she gets on her stomach is can't figure out how to get to that toy that she wants. But she is picking it up really fast.
Hannah loves her food. She has cereal in the mornings, and she has a vegetables and fruit for lunch and dinner. She loves her food. I can't seem to give it to her fast enough. Her favorite food is Sweet Potatoes and corn, and she loves peaches. But Peaches are my favorite fruit. So she is like me.
Blair and I can't believe how big she is getting. She is go much fun to be with. She loves to talk. For New Years we went to my aunts. When we got home Hannah all of a sudden got a second high. She wouldn't stop talking and screaming. Blair tried to wear her out by playing with her. It wasn't working. We finally put her in her crib and just turned out all the lights. We could still hear her in her crib just talking away. She finally went to sleep around 1:30 in the morning. She is just a talker.
Blair is doing great with his job. He got transferred to another branch. he is now on 1st south and main. He was sad to be leaving the branch at trolley square. But hopefully this new branch will be good.
Blair and I got a calling in our ward. We are ward missionaries and we teach gospel principals class. It will be a great experience for both of us.
As for me I am still at home watching two kids. I love it because I am able to stay at home and be a mom. i am so lucky to have a husband that lets me do this. I am so grateful for him. I love him. He is such a great dad. He loves his family.
Well till next time. hopefully it wont be long. We love you all.
I am not able to put pictures on right now. But I will put another blog of pictures from our Christmas that was great. And a few that we have from Hannah.

Getting So big

Everyone is asking for more pictures of Hannah. She is growing up so fast. She wants to move around all the time. I am in trouble when she learns to crawl. She loves to play in Grandma Perry's Saucer. When we were at Grandmas house on Sunday Blair put on a Santa hat and we couldn't help but take pictures.

More Traditions

Another tradition in Blair's family is to decorate Gingerbread houses. It is a good tradition to start. It was so much fun. Blair's was the best looking one. I wasn't able to help much because I had to take care of Hannah. But Here are a few pictures of the houses. Ours is on the end.

Traditions

Sorry it has been awhile sense I have last blogged. Let me catch you up to date. It is tradition in Blair's family to go Christmas tree hunting after Thanksgiving. So the day after Thanksgiving we went up by the East fork of the bear and we went hunting.

After about 2hours of hunting. We found the trees we wanted. One of the trees was down by a river bank. It was on the ledge. Blair and to Pull on the tree so when it finally cut it wouldn't fall in the water.

I couldn't wait to get home and decorate the tree. I love having a real tree in the house. It smells so good. I am so excited for Christmas.

Such a cute Butterfly

It was Hannah's first year of Halloween. I can't say she loved it because she went to sleep the first step we took outside to go trick or treating. We were able to go to dads work during the day. She was awake for that. Dad got to dress up for work. He dressed up as his day off. He bushed out his beard and spiked his hair. Grandma Merkley bought Hannah a Butterfly for Halloween. She looked so cute. We were not able to due the hat on her head up. Because of her double chin it would fit all the way. Next year we will try to get her to stay awake.

Our First Home

Time for another posting. This one has been about 3 months or more in the making. Blair and I bought our own place. We have been living at his parents house since the beginning of March. We knew we didn’t want to stay there for too long. We used the time to save but also to get a few things that would have been otherwise impossible (like our camcorder for use with Hannah). We spent some time looking at a lot of different places. It was getting quite frustrating trying to find a place that was in our small budget but wasn’t a total pit.
We were turned onto a place by my mom up in Bountiful. We looked at the website for the place and saw the price was within our range so we thought what else do we have to lose. We went up, looked through a few of the available units. We both felt good about it so we decided to jump on the opportunity. This complex was formerly apartments and a group of people bought it and were converting all the units into condominiums. The unit Blair and I decided on was totally gutted as seen by some of the pictures. The developers were willing to re-do everything from the flooring to the paint to the doors and light fixtures. To have them do it would have tacked on approximately $14,000 to $15,000 which didn’t seem like that great of a deal.
Blair’s dad, Von, is into the cabinet and granite countertop business so with that and a few other connections with various people we decided to fix it up ourselves. Like I said this has been about 3 months in the making. Blair has spent just about every night after work up here working with whoever is willing to help. We had my dad here to help with the tiling. When I say help I mean he pretty much did it while Blair watched and learned how to lay tile. My dad also helped with the baseboards and just quite a bit of other stuff. Blair’s family and friends also came and helped quite a bit, painting and putting the cabinets in place and everything like that. I have never seen Blair work so hard and for so long on anything. He was great to get everything organized and finished while still keeping his sanity.
Well that is the long version of the story. I think our new place look fantastic. Both Blair and I are so excited to be on our own again and to be in a place that is all our own. These pictures are obviously some before and mostly after shots of our place.

Cousins

I was able to Watch Noah, Hannah's cousin for a few hours one day. I got to see what it was like to have twins. It was hard but fun work seeing that they are so close in age. They also had the same time schedule so it made everything tricky. But I was able to play with both of them and get some great pictures of both of them.

Bath Time

Everynight before bed, Hannah gets a bath. She loves them. She will just sit there so relaxed. Here are a few pictures of Grandma Perry giving Hannah a bath.

Hannah is getting so big. She is doing a great job at holding her head up. She will sit and talk and smile at me. It is so great to watch them smile at you. Hannah loves to grunt. She is always grunting. She does love her swing. She is always in it. Hannah is getting so big. She has out grown her 0-3 month old outfits. She is now in her 3-6 month old outfits. We can't believe how big she is getting. Everyday her hair is getting more and more red. But we are loving it. She is just so cute.

The new member

Blair and I had a baby girl July 22, 2007. I was not due till August 4, 2007. But she came early with the help of me. I went to the doctor on Friday and he said that I was dilated to a 3 and 80% efaced. I went home and jumped on the trampoline. I used the stairs like a stair master. I also ran a hill and that Saturday night I took some Caster Oil. I woke up in pain. We started counting the contractions and when they were one minute apart. we went to the hospital. I was dilated to a 8. They gave me my epidural and I started pushing around 9:05 A.M. I had Hannah Marie Perry. at 9:18 A.M. She was so beautiful. She came out with Red hair. Blair and I both looked at each other. We were not wanting a red head. To this day her hair is getting more and more red. But we love her red hair and all. A little while after Hannah was born she started turning purple. The doctors were not sure what it was. After taking her to ICU and finding out she had reflux pretty badly we were able to take her home on Monday the 24th. We love her. She has been so great. She is getting so big. We look forward to watching her grow up.

Blair and I were married September 16, 2006 in the Salt Lake temple. We were planning on a reception outside in my parents back yard. It was going to look great. That morning I woke up to rain. It rained almost all day. When it wasn't raining it was snowing. We had the first snow that day. You can snow in some of our wedding pictures. Because of the snow we had to move the reception inside my parents house. It was a little crowded. But that is OK It ended up being a great day. The next morning we went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. It was so great. I loved it there. We want to go back but take some friends with us. When the sun set it was so awesome. We were right on the beach. Blair also lost his wedding ring in the ocean. I told him to take it off before we went snorkeling. He told me that nothing could take his ring off. It was a good thing we had insurance on it. We went snorkeling right off the rocks by our place. We got banged up really good. I was bleeding a little bit. I was scared a shark was going to smell the blood and come after me. I am so scared of sharks. I did keep going snorkeling. It was a ton of fun.

I meet a wonderful man at my work on March 10th. I saw him and couldn't resist. We ended up talking all night on Friday. We went out on a date Saturday night. We had a great time. We went out to dinner with Blair's friends, Cami and Nino. We then later went to get ice cream and watch a movie. Blair came over Sunday to my house and played games with my family. I knew the day I met him at work that he was the one that I was going to marry. I was still scared of getting into a relationship with a jerk. So I had to put him to the test. To this day Blair tells me how mean I was. I keep apologizing. But I will always get reminded of it. Here are a few pictures of us while we are dating. We ended up dating for 3 months and we were engaged for 3. I kept telling Blair he needed to ask me to marry him. He kept putting it off. One day I came home from work and I walked in the door and there was Blair in a suit with 2 dozen roses. He started talking to me and asked me to marry him. I was shaking so bad. I was so excited. We went out to the roof that night for dinner. After we went and showed off to family and friends.
