Sorry it has been a long time

I am sorry it has been sooo long. I have been playing catch up with two kids. I also have not been feeling like blogging. Two kids are great. Hard, but so worth it. Hannah loves Rya so much. Hannah is always having to hug and kiss Rya. Every time Rya cries, Hannah comes running. Hannah is such a big help. Hannah loves to help burp and bath Rya. She will bring me diapers and anything else I need her to bring. She is such a great little mom. Here are some pictures.

Rya is so cute. I love her hair. It wont ever stay down
Santa came to Perry's. Hannah was a little scared at first. She soon came to love him.

I had to get a picture of how little she is. She fits so great in the boppy.

Blair and the girls. Hannah loves to hold Rya.
Wanting to smile but is not sure if she should
Blair enjoying Rya
Hannah and her two cousins at Christmas. They loved playing together. It is too bad they live in California.
Hannah and her funny faces during Christmas. she knows she is cute and makes sure everyone else thinks so to.

Trying to get the girls to take a picture

Jesse is always saying that Hannah doesn't like him. This is what broke the wall between them. Hannah has no problems with him anymore. Jesse almost had her asleep. The wet diaper was keeping her up. We miss you Jesse.

One Week

I can't believe it has been a week. It is crazy to think that last week I was having a baby. I still can't believe she got here as fast as she did. We all love her to death. Hannah has to know where she is at all times, if she can't find Rya she will start crying and wants to know where she is. Hannah is always giving her hugs and kisses. She loves to hold her with the help of Mom and Dad. She is a great big sister. I love my girls. Rya is such a great baby. The only time we hear her cry she when she is hungry. Rya has such a beautiful smiles that she shows off all the time. She is so beautiful. I love my beautiful girls. I can't believe we are now a family of 4. Here are some pictures in the hospital and at home. I love Rya's hair. I love that she has so much and that it sticks up everywhere. I am also so thankful for Blair and how much help he has been with two kids. He has been such a great dad to both Hannah and Rya. I love you Blair.

Thanksgiving

I came home from the hospital Thanksgiving afternoon. We went to Perry's for dinner. We didn't stay long. We just knew that Thanksgiving would not be Thanksgiving without family. Here are some pictures of Hannah showing off her teeth, and cute smile. I love this little girl so much.

The Long Story

As promised earlier I will tell you all the long version of my adventurous day. It started off with a doctors appointment to Dr. Stowers (who I really don't like as a doctor but that is another story) at 9:00 o'clock. I was dilated to a 3 and 60 % effaced. He made an appointment for me to be induced on December 3rd and told me he would see me next week. I went home and I was having the occasional contraction. I got some stuff taken care of around the house. Blair was home from work all day so he was able to watch Hannah and the other kids that I watch. Both Blair and I wanted to have the baby soon so we tried figuring out what to do. I went to the gym and walked on the stairmaster for a few minutes. I could only climb stairs a few at a time before I was either out of breath or having a contraction or both.
I went home from the gym and eventually made it to my Grandma Deters house to work on some baby blankets. The contractions were getting more intense as the day kept going. I went home from my grandmas and the contractions got a lot worse once I got home. Around 4:00 I called the hospital to talk to a nurse to describe the contractions and try to get an idea if I was in labor or not. My contractions at the time were spaced between 3 and 5 minutes apart while I was standing but when I would sit down they would go to about 10 minutes apart. The nurse said I wasn't in labor and the contractions should be spaced evenly no matter where I was or what I was doing.
I hung up the phone and they just kept going. I didn't want to go to the hospital and get sent home because of false labor. Around 6' o clock pm Blair called his mom and asked her to come up to our house to watch Hannah so we could go to the hospital. Blair's mom was about 30 to 40 minutes away so we called my Grandma Deters and she was there in 2 minutes. We left for the hospital and Blair drove as fast as he could. We were kind of hoping we got pulled over so we could maybe get escorted the rest of the way. That didn't happen. We got to the hospital at 6:45 and went up to labor and delivery. They had me get dressed in the gown. I thought I had to go to the bathroom and I looked and thought I was bleeding. It started freaking me out. The nurses tried keeping me calm but it didn't work very well.
The nurse checked me and I was dilated to and 8 1/2 and was 100% effaced!!!! I had gotten that far on less then 10 hours.I started begging for an epidural so they called the anesthesiologist. The nurses got my I.V. in after 3 different tries and the doctor came in to start the epidural. I WAS DYING BY THIS POINT. I was hurting so badly I couldn't wait for the epidural to start. The doctor got it put in and layed me back on the bed. I felt like the water had broken probably 4 times. After I laid back down my water really broke and I felt like something was coming out. The nurse looked and the baby was crowning. They called the emergency OB/GYN and had him rush up to the room. The doctor came into the room and before he had time to even put on gloves, the baby had come out. No one caught the baby the baby just slid out and landed on the bed. The official birth time was 7:15. Oh yeah by the way the anesthesiologist didn't have a chance to really start the epidural so technically I went all natural. He had the needle put in and ready to start it but by the time they were going to hook it up the baby was out.

FINALLY!!!!!!!

On Tuesday November 25th I gave birth to a new beautiful baby girl. Rya Lyn Perry was born 6 lbs 9 oz and 19 inches long. It is kind of a long story but to make it short, this morning I was checked by my doctor and I measured a 3 like I blogged earlier. By 6:45 pm I was at LDS Hospital and being checked by the nurses. The baby was born at 7:15 pm. The gynecologist didn't even have time to put his gloves on before the baby had come out. I will blog more about the whole experience later but here are a few pictures to enjoy until you all can see in person how beautiful she is.

So close but not close enough

I went to the doctor today. Still no baby. I am dilated to a 3 and 60% effaced. If I don't have her by the 3rd he will induce me. Hopefully she comes before then. We are crossing our fingers.

Mommys little girl

Grandma Perry found a balloon laying around that was just the right size. Grandma put it up Hannah shirt and we all started laughing that she looked pregnant. We couldn't help but get pictures of Hannah and I together. Hannah was not sure what to think of it all. Hopefully she will laugh when she is older.

Such a babe

Hannah's great Grandma Bradshaw went to Hawaii. She brought Hannah back a really cute backpack and a jacket. Hannah loved the backpack. She rolled it around for a long while after getting it. I also have to say I love Hannah with her two pig tails in the back. Thank you Grandma. We love it.
